Braids, Threads, Ribbons and ROPES
Braids, threads and ROPES are usually used as industrial gaskets for stoves, fireplaces, boilers, ovens, inspection doors, lids and containers, which allow for an airtight seal thanks to excellent adaptability, preventing leaks of gas or other fluids from the system and maintaining the temperature in the exercise chamber. They come in a square or round section and are made of glass fiber or ceramic fiber depending on the temperature of use and have a reinforcement either in glass fiber up to 500°C or with Inconel yarns up to 1000°C. Fiber seals are further divided into traditional ceramic fiber RCF and ecological fiber AES. The main difference between braids and ROPES is that braids are made entirely from yarn and remain more rigid and less compressible, while ROPES have a soft mattress core, therefore softer and allow for crushing once in place.
