ETHICAL CODE

This Code of Ethics (hereinafter, the "Code") outlines the set of ethical and moral principles underlying the activities of Refrattari Generali srl (hereinafter, the "Company"), as well as the behavioral guidelines adopted by the Company in its operations.
Compliance with these principles is of fundamental importance for achieving the corporate mission of Refrattari Generali srl and for safeguarding its reputation within the socio-economic context in which it operates.
This Code is binding for the directors and employees of Refrattari Generali srl, as well as for all those who operate and collaborate, either on a permanent or temporary basis, on behalf of the Company (hereinafter, the "Recipients").

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The conduct of Recipients, at all corporate levels, is based on the principles of legality, fairness, non-discrimination, confidentiality, diligence, and loyalty.
Refrattari Generali srl operates in full compliance with the law and with this Code.
Honesty and moral integrity are essential duties for all Recipients.
In staff management, work organization, selection and management of suppliers, as well as in relations with Bodies and Institutions, Refrattari Generali srl avoids and rejects any discrimination based on age, gender, race, sexual orientation, health status, political and union opinions, religion, culture, or nationality of its stakeholders.
Refrattari Generali srl is committed to ensuring the protection and confidentiality of the Recipients’ personal data, in compliance with all applicable data protection legislation.
In particular, Recipients are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding documents revealing know-how, transport information, business information, and corporate operations.
The relationship between Refrattari Generali srl and its employees is based on mutual trust; therefore, employees are required to act in the interest of the company, respecting the values set out in this Code.
Recipients must refrain from any activity that could create a conflict with the interests of Refrattari Generali srl, avoiding the pursuit of personal interests that conflict with the legitimate interests of the Company.
Refrattari Generali srl and its Recipients are committed to fair competition, in accordance with national and EU regulations, aware that virtuous competition is a healthy incentive for innovation and development processes, and also protects the interests of consumers and the community.

Refrattari Generali srl is committed to offering its staff a healthy, safe, and respectful work environment that upholds the dignity of workers.
Workplace safety is ensured through strict implementation of the current legal provisions.

INTERNAL CONTROL SYSTEM

Adherence to the provisions of this Code is entrusted to the prudent, reasonable, and careful monitoring of each of the Recipients, according to their roles and responsibilities within the company.
All Recipients are encouraged to report to their immediate superiors any facts or situations potentially in conflict with the principles and provisions of this Code.
The management of Refrattari Generali srl and the bodies specifically designated adopt any necessary measures to end violations, including resorting to any disciplinary action in compliance with the law and the rights of workers, including union rights.
Anyone who becomes aware of a violation of this Code of Ethics is encouraged to report it to the Guarantor to ensure proper application of the principles contained in the Code of Ethics.
