BLAKITE

It is a highly refractory mortar that has excellent water retention characteristics. It was specially developed for laying insulating firebricks but is also suitable for use with super duty and high alumina dense refractory bricks. It has a dark gray color. Recommended for applications up to 1650°C. It is supplied in a consistency suitable for shallow patching or trowelling. To obtain a consistency suitable for dipping, add approximately 5% water (by weight) to the Blakite as supplied.
Blakite mortar is well suited as a single, general purpose mortar on projects involving mainly insulating firebricks but also including some dense firebricks.

Lafarge Casting Cement

Rapid hardening cement that allows concrete surfaces to be used within 6 – 24 hours of their creation, excellent resistance to acid attacks, pH > 4.
Suitable for applications where it is necessary to guarantee resistance to high temperatures. Particularly suitable for works subject to abrasion.
Mixed with traditional cement-based mortars allows you to obtain a perfect setting in just 30 minutes depending on the dose of Ciment Fondu® used.
Ciment Fondu®-based concretes and mortars formulated to achieve high strength and low porosity offer improved resistance to abrasion and wear. Furthermore, even better results can be obtained by using suitable aggregates such as Alag® aggregates. Ciment Fondu® is the ideal choice for applications where the concrete is subjected to abrasion: industrial flooring, unloading/transfer areas, dam drains, canals, pillars, etc.

SECAR 71 calcium aluminate cement

Composed primarily of calcium aluminate, SECAR® 71 can be used as a primary binder or in combination with other reactive minerals. Using SECAR® 71 as a refractory cement normally finds it as the primary binder in mortars and concretes exposed to refractory temperatures. SECAR® 71 is preferred by many high duty refractory concretes due to a very low iron oxide content of approximately 0.1%.
